This mixed media is wonderful both the artwork and your story are engaging.

Thank you so much Jennifer! I honestly felt a bit hesitant to share the story at first. I usually only tell the people closest to me as I'm still a little uncomfortable with it it myself. ;)

If you dont mind me asking are you the granddaughter she spoke about? Your art looks great and meaningfull. Animisme is such an interesting field of knowledge🥰

Of course not! Yes I am and I think it's a lot of pressure haha! I frames it towards a more modern take by helping others to connect to their creative soul, which I think we all have in our own way and it's so healing to fully embrace it.  It is, isn't it? When you look at nature, animism seems very plausible. Trees are communicating and taking care of each other with the help of fungi. Volcanos bring life and new lands into our world. And animals are way smarter than we give them credit for.  Thank you so much for your kind words! ❤️

Oh my! There are multiple readings available as I look at this. A melting Mount Rushmore? (The first and most simplistic that came to me.) It’s the sort of work one would stand pondering at a museum!  I haven’t done this class yet, but isn’t Elisabeth a teacher who offers so many opportunities to one’s own path into a project? Ohhh thank you so much for your kind words Judy! I love that you saw a melted Mount Rushmore, for me it symbolises the animism. This was a combination of my own mixed media drawing, digital collage and adding some details in procreate.  Yes absolutely. Elisabeth inspires to take the class project and demonstrated techniques to incorporate into your own style. I recommend this class, it’s so much fun. I hope you’ll give it a go!
