oh  by the way, I saw your review (thank you so much!) But where you also said that you felt that as a beginner you werent' able to get as much as you'd like from the class. I totally hear you, these are not simple techniques. However I DO promise that if you do the class multiple times, you'll find that it gets easier and easier each time. oh what beautiful paintings Jennifer!! I LOVE that you did it multiple times in order to find something you liked better. I like both, for different reasons :) but it was also nice to hear about the different ways you tried to figure out how to get closer to the kind of art you want to make. . And yes, using more of th paint mixture can def help you work faster, which is very useful when working with watercolor! Have you tried my moody wash watercolor class?? I feel like you might like that one a lot as it helps you practice making the background, so that they are less challenging and you're better able to create the kinds of textures you want. Wishing you all the best, and thanks so much for sharing Jennifer!I hope you keep on painting :)  Marie-Noëlle

I like the stronger color.  I used a larger brush and made more of the paint mixture so I could work faster.
