I made a series of charts depicting reported arena attendances in the NHL during the 2017-18 regular season. I grabbed attendance data from hockey-reference.com and transformed it such that the area of a circle would represent the attendance value. All charts were made on Illustrator.

For every team, their chart include all 41 home games, a colour indicator to show if any given game was a sellout, as well as game outcome in the inner ring. There's also a supplementary sidebar to show which opponents visited when there was a sellout.

 

Thank you Nadieh! This course was a great intro and was the perfect motivation to try something new.
