Graphite Color Play

These Gansai Tambi Graphite water-soluble colors remind me of the Sumikundo 15452 Shadow Black - Japanesque Colour. If you burnish it with a metal spoon, you kind of get some graphite sheen. Mostly though, they are a matte finish. They do granulate a little bit more than the Sumikundo 15452 Shadow Black. They definitely are different colors compared to the Derwent Graphitint XL Blocks and the Derwent Inktense.Graphite Color Play - image 1 - student project

I didn't use a water-soluable graphite pencil.
