I loved Denise’s take on how tracing can be an invaluable tool. I am someone who wants to learn sketching but am quite impatient and eager to get painting. Tracing has proved as the best method for me. I utilize Procreate on my iPad to make a layer mask to create my outlines and then print the sketch and transfer using a light box it saves on time and gives me less of chance of eraser marks or smudges on my watercolor paper.
