These urban nature journal pages document things that I saw and was inspired by in my current city of Pittsburgh, PA. I completed this week of prompts in early spring, so there wasn't too much that was blossoming or green.

However, I looked really closely to find things that were interesting to me, and it worked!

Days 1 and 2: I showcase the colors of ivy and textures of moss phlox.

Days 3 and 4: Black and white river stones and hand-lettered questions that came to mind from my "plop spot" by a pond.

Days 5, 6, and 7: A pattern made up of a rounded leaf and sweetgum seed pod, three tiny items I found in my backyard (including a mushroom, seed pod and bur), and a little nature map that I made by the stream in an urban park.
