The City Inside is the name of the compound where I live and I love it here. I live opposite rice paddies with buffaloes, herons and frogs and because this is in Indonesia there are colourful, fun plants everywhere. 

 

I really enjoyed walking around learning more about what is on my doorstep and using it in a creative way. Who knew that so many of the "weeds" here are actually therapeutic in some way?! 

 

It's definitely something I'd be interested to try out again. Thanks for the inspiring course! (And my new, fancy, toned Hahnemuhle sketchbook was perfect for it!)
