I don't have glyphs so I used FontForge, but much of this information was super helpful to get started! 

I wanted to start by making a font of my handwriting - a dream I've had for a decade. 

I started by writing out a bunch of pangrams to get my letters in their natural state.

 

the tips about kerning were especially helpful! It isn't perfect but I'm really excited.
