Paint a Monochrome Watercolor Flower in Under 30 Minutes

This is really beautiful. Your blue choice is gorgeous, and I love the softness you achieved throughout the petals and leaves. There is such a calm feeling to this piece.You also did a wonderful job varying the strength of the pigment with more and less water. That is one of the hardest parts of monochromatic painting, and you handled it very naturally here.As you continue practicing these loose florals, one thing you can start experimenting with is letting a few petals or leaves stay softer and lighter while allowing one or two areas to become your stronger focal point with darker accents and sharper edges. That little bit of variation can add even more depth and movement to the piece.Beautiful work, and thank you so much for sharing it with us!
