Hi Rhonda, what a great play on texture. Of course, a bit of space between the letters would be lovely, to give them room to develop their own character. Or, if it’s for city branding, to improve legibility. I watched Draplin’s class too and absolutely loved it. A solid 11 out of 10.🤩 His book is in my studio too and is a fantastic source of inspiration and guidance on how word marks work. Just stick with the process and keep experimenting. Practice really does make the master here.😉 I can’t wait to see your next step.

Thank you for your feedback! I thought about the spacing as well, although my lettering accurately reflects how crowded Austin is now, lol! I’m a beginner, and have lots to learn.
