Really enjoy the class so far. Trying to loosen up with these monochrome portraits.

i chose a darker color and it resulted in my highlights looking really extreme (and in other places I had too much water and lost highlights. Normally id do a wash over the whole skin to dim the highlights, but trying not to overwork things.

For day 2! I had some trouble with my brown paint. Had to go back over a lot to get it as dark as I wanted, and ended up with a pretty sharp portrait. I tried to blur it as it goes backward and give it almost an impressionistic look. Not sure that worked, but turned out ok. Still trying to loosen up.

For day 3! I'm quite happy with how this turned out. It's easy to overwork the hair, so I maybe would have preferred it a bit looser. And I wanted to add more freckles cause they helped complete the look. I tried to keep the tear duct highlights as much as possible
