This turned out beautifully, the colours feel so fresh and vibrant, and the way you’ve handled the slices gives them a lovely sense of juiciness and light. I really like the clean, airy composition too, it suits the subject perfectly. It’s great to hear you found it a zen process, that calm feeling really comes through in the painting.

This was a very zen painting session.  I did let myself get a little distracted and forgot to add the shadows.
