I actually started becoming interested in expressing myself creatively during the pandemic when I started bullet journaling. My Sketchbook Journey - image 3 - student project

January 2021.

My first few months were filled calendar spreads and uplifting sayings.

Over the past four years I've been taking Skillshare classes and learning new technics and falling in love with different styles.  I'm still trying to find my own style.

My Sketchbook Journey - image 4 - student projectI still keep a bullet journal but the paper is of better quality, but I've also purchased a few sketchbooks just for the lessons I've been trying out.

I'd really like to understand what my "style" is, because I flit from pen to watercolor to colored pencils to pure pencil sketching etc.  I haven't found an illustrative style yet so my people sketches I still consider to be quite juvenile.

My Sketchbook Journey - image 6 - student projectI'd like to figure that out next...

Thank you for the chance to look back on my progress and see how different artists that I've followed have affected my own art!
