My artistic progress since 2019
Absolutely loved this class, Olga! Loved seeing your artistic progress over the years, and how your style evolved. It inspires me to continue (and hopefully finish!) my sketchbook(s!), but also what is possible with constant practice. Thank you for sharing, dear Olga! My turn:
First watercolor painting (ever) of a cute fox (on paper, size A2!) that I was sooo proud of:

A sampler of my vintage paper sketchbook (2020):

And of my 2021 sketchbook:

Then I started to paint animals (2022), with a predilection for foxes, again (and a few of them I painted in your classes too!): on loose paper though, as I started to become precious about my sketchbooks, and did not want to mess them up:

My favorite painting of 2023: quite proud of that one, I am even thinking about making a series of flowers in this style, to sell in a local gallery:
and then I started to loose my practice, painting less and sometimes not for weeks. I found the 'pen and ink challenge' on Instagram, loved it - by drawing, writing or painting a minimum of 2 prompts a week you could (still can!) win a luxury fountain pen, so I took part and won some, and kept participating. I am still doing the challenge on an almost daily basis:
A sampler of 2023, with a snapshot of my Instagram as a 'sketchbook':

Sampler of 2024: some watercolors and gouache, some pen and ink:

Sampler of 2025: mostly pen and ink, still some watercolors!

Now I am trying to get back into painting bigger flowers for my art project, and I think starting with small ones in my sketchbooks would be perfect!
Thank you Olga for the inspiration!
