I used a larger sheet than normal for me for this project (11x15). I actually used a color palette from Pinterest for this one, but the green gray was more gray than the palette's sage example. All the other colors were spot on. But they flattened the green gray completely.

I'm still learning and experimenting (and sometimes struggling) with mark making - where to put them, what to use, which colors work best - but I LOVED using the fan brush (the white stripes) here, and the tip of a harder acrylic brush made the little wonky orange shapes. I'm learning that I really the straight lines that the side of a card or a scraper provide. 

The original looks pretty wonky, but I like the cutouts I got from it. I placed a mat over them as I took photos since I cut larger than the cutout.
