Large color blocking
In the projects for this course, I chose to use watercolor. I wasn't feeling like playing with acrylic today. I went with the pink and ochre colour scheme but added red ochre and burnt siena with some graphite. I used pastel pencil and neocolor II water soluble crayons for the mark making.I misjudged how much the graphite would move on this paper so some areas are a little muddy. I created two pieces with this combination and another with a brighter pink and orange. Here are the results.

I am not sure how I want to cut this one up. I like to blooms in the top left corner and along the bottom edge.

I darkened the graphite lines and came up with this cut sample. The rest I cut up as a striped collage.
