The heart of a dog redesign
My project is the redesigning of the book cover of The heart of a dog by Mikhail Bulgakov. It was published in 1968 so it has a great history of different book covers, a few examples below

And finally my redesign: I like the idea of keeping the image of the dog but not in it's transitional way as a human but as the animal, representing his anger and frustration. The shadow of the almost human or "new soviet man" he becomes during the book and the red as a way of enpasulating all of this in the soviet union.
Please let me know your thoughts! thanks!
