Traditional Ethiopian Kabba but Funky

I've been having fun coming up with different, funky iterations of traditional Ethiopian clothes. This time I played with the traditional Ethiopian/Eritrean cape (Kaba) which is normally worn in weddings in some parts of the country.

In my first iteration, I switched up the color (which is usually darker).

In the second one, I imagined it as something that is made with a sturdy material (like plastic) so it creates the effect of someone hanging upside down.

I don't usually use watercolor on my fashion illustrations, but it was fun trying that with Chris here. It creates a different, more fluid effect than alcohol markers, which I usually use.
