I started with water color on canvaspaper. thought id make some salt patterns in the shape of the saturns circle. i then spread some of the watercolor with the tip of a needle, thought it looked quite like some souls so i marked them out with a watercolor pencil in random shapes and made eyes or mouth where the watercolor naturally made them. tried to use a oil pastel to resist some watercolor in a circle in the middle, but it didnt quite work very well so i used this gold paint from this box of paints my dad gave me since he is pausing his paintings. i then make swirls using the other side of the needle and i made a stippled line following the failed watercolor circle and made some big and small dots. i think it turned out quite nice. the painting made itself really!
