This was a new experience. When I had painted with my color palette to create a watercolor background I realized that I imagined the sea. I used the all the layers and the formations occurring on layer one to continue painting the water and sand. I have a jar of Daniel Winston’s Watercolor Ground (never used) which I used to build up the starfish. I enjoyed painting intuitively over a couple of days. This was a first experience with many of these materials. So much fun. The metallics were hard to photograph. Do you any suggestions for me?
