I don't like winter at all and it's sometimes a struggle getting through the seemingly endless grey days but this class helps to remind one that there are still plenty of things out there to draw and paint. We have a number of small conifers in our garden that we've planted in the time we've been here but I've never really thought of drawing them before, but getting my coloured pencils out and doing this exercise made me realise how much I enjoy just drawing with them and I got totally absorbed in the process. 

I also did some winter brainstorming and a page of winter colours where greys and browns seem to predominate. My impression of winter in this part of the world :-)
