this stuff is too hard (but the course is a treasure)

I wanted to use the tips to give greater perspective to a couple of drawings. The first should have been easy because the instructor basically drew this through three different lenses: people sitting and standing around the table. Well, even after hours of fiddling with it, it still doesn't look right. Maybe the table is a wide-angle lens while the people are narrow-angle, not to mention that the lens may be "looking down" for part of the image but then forgets about it for the other part... Anyway, since there are so few projects submitted for this course, I thought I would share my shabby attempt to encourage others who can surely do better :).

The second drawing is again a downward facing camera attempting to show rain falling on a skylight on a slanted ceiling. This also doesn't look right, but I tried very hard to imagine vanishing points somewhere, but I'm completely lost when it comes to drawing lines that are not flat or perpendicular to the horizon.

Thanks for a great course, Mr. Worthington! I obviously need to rewatch it a few more times...this stuff is too hard (but the course is a treasure) - image 1 - student projectthis stuff is too hard (but the course is a treasure) - image 2 - student projectthis stuff is too hard (but the course is a treasure) - image 3 - student project
