Church tower island of Rab

Thank you so much for this class!

Finally I have the theoretical knowledge of how to do certain things.

I've only watched until the 13th video, but I had some time to do some urban sketching today and already implemented many of your tips.

I chose a slightly upwards sloping street with the houses not being parallel, a very organically grown environment. I love those old buildings and finally I was able to sketch them in a bit more correctly than usually.

I've used the following tips:

I started with the church tower and used a center line as it's symmetrical. It helped a lot to keep it nice and vertical.

I remembered the slightly rotated boxes and used this to shift the vanishing points on the eye level line.

I drew in another horizon line for the sloping street.

I exaggerated the steps in front of the doors, but didn't achieve a very strong contrast as the slope isn't slanted enough.

So far I only have the quick (1,5h) sketch in pencil, but I want to go over with ink pens. As I'll be erasing everything in pencil I wanted to post the sketch with all the construction lines first and will upload the final version once I'm done.
