This class inspires me to sketch as much as possible outside. I don’t have a lot of time with a baby but I had 3 weeks of holidays and I wanted to make nice memories !

- First week - 

We went to Alexandre Dumas’ castle. 
I only had time to do the pencil sketch on site, pen and watercolor later. 

- Second week -

We had the chance to see an olympic compétition ! After that we went to a café to eat an icecream and there was a beautiful storefront. I only did a pencil sketch and watercolor at home. 
A little bit messy, too big for me but good practice !

- Third week - 

(It was about time I post the rest !! It's early December and my holidays were in August ^^)

So during the third week we went to the Alps. We love the mountains during summer. I made this page in the appartment we were renting :

 

It's a little sketch of the cute kitchen, the view we had from our window, and a local pastry ! I'm quite disappointed with the view but I'm not great at landscapes ... I tried to represent the morning mist. 

And a few days later, we went to see a beautiful chapel, I made the pencil sketch on site, and did the ink and watercolor a few weeks later. 

 

I'm quite happy with this one ! I like the shadows and the light. It took me a looong time but that was a nice way to end my accordeon sketchbook !
