Hook

Elora is in a building complex overrun by zombies and must escape.

                               ○ Elora suffers a panic attack

                               ○ (Short scene, 2 or 3 pages maybe)

Backstory

A long flashback follows as Elora and her parents travel to America and eventually the zombie apocalypse breaks out.

                               ○ Family talks about the upcoming trip to America.

                               ○ Trip to America (brief; to establish relationship between

                                   Elora and parents).

                               ○ They arrive in America

                               ○ Guided tour of Chicago

                               ○ Family is approached by doomsday-cultists

                               ○ Zombie apocalypse breaks out

                               ○ Elora and her parents get separated

                               ○ Elora gets captured by cultists and gets tossed into a 

                                   building complex to serve as a human sacrifice to the

                                   zombies

                               ○ The Hook's plot continues

                              

Trigger

Elora meets a group that is also travelling to Safe Haven (safe military complex for survivors) and joins them.

Most of the group gets killed in an attack by the cultists and the rrest gets separated. Elora is alone again.

                               ○ The group must be very careful in the current

                                   environment, as Reds (the cultists' new names) are

                                   nearby

                               ○ A male, mentally unstable, member of the group shoots

                                   himself with a gun he just found

                               ○ Another female member notices his intention just before

                                    and wants to rush to him but it is too late

                               ○ The shot brings the group the Red’s attention

                               ○ The Reds rush up to the group and surround them with

                                    their guns drawn

                               ○ They consider recruiting members of the group

                               ○ Ruth gives them a piece of her mind about their believe

                                   and ideology

                               ○ One of the Reds shoots Ruth

                               ○ Nia (member of the group) and Elora manage to escape,                                     Nia tries to protect Elora.

                               ○ They get separated and Elora is alone again
