I'm quite new to illustration and even newer to Procreate. I have a BFA in photography and the similarities between photoshop and procreate have caused me to fall in love with this program.

I really enjoyed this class, and day 3 was my favourite day because I love experimenting with negative space. This was a very unusual palette for me. I'm very specific about colours and orange rarely makes it way into my artwork or decor so this was a welcome departure. I will absolutely use this technique with the chalk brush again. 

I keep a written journal, so I did not feel inclined to make notes, but I often pick a quote or mantra for the day. "I will not make anymore boring art" is the unofficial slogan of my University :)
