Hi Rob–really enjoyed the course. Here’s my project attempt. I’m still quite new to this stuff so I hope my mistakes/any formatting errors aren’t too egregious. Any feedback you have would be appreciated!

Channels needed 

Channel 1: mic (singer/speaker)

• Dynamic mic → XLR cable → channel 1 XLR input 

Channel 2: guitar 

• Guitar → standard jack → DI box (mono) → XLR cable → channel 2 XLR input 

Channel 3/4: Piano

• Piano → RCA cable → DI box (stereo) → XLR cables → channel 3 and 4 XLR inputs

Computer

• Option 1: tape in
  • Computer → mini jack/RCA cable → tape in input 
  • In the event of ground loop hum: Computer → mini jack/RCA cable → ground loop isolator → tape in input 
• Option 2 (pref): XLR
  • Computer → mini jack/RCA cable → standard jack adaptors → DI box (ground lift on) → XLR cables → channel 5 and 6 XLR inputs
