expressive ink

I tried a chinese cow hair brush I had laying around, but it proved very hard to control. The marks are nice, thoughexpressive ink - image 1 - student projectexpressive ink - image 2 - student project.

Chinese mulberry paper adds a nice reflection.I used that for the bamboo.

It is not suitable for wet in wet, so I used water color paper for the grass.

For the rest I used mixed media paper. It is not Chinese ink, but Leipziger Black produced by R&K. Diluted it turns blue, when lifted it leaves behind a brownish tinge.
