A play on words
This was a great way to start a piece or creative art. I started by looking up the word and came up with some definitions that I hadn't ever heard of. Then picking some words out I decided I wanted it to be whimsical. I had been given some water-colour pencils and didn't really know how they should be used. But I guess that added to the fun of experimenting and it doesn't really matter how they "should" be used but that they are used.
So the words "careless" and "not accurate" inspired me to put down the colour. I found wetting the paper first gave me a better effect than drawing and then putting water over the top. I was effectively slinging the colour on the page. I tried spirals and triangular shapes which then faded into other shapes. I have been using black on top of backgrounds lately and so a ropey effect was used for the word. Don't know why it was cats except the tail added motion.
