I am glad I finally had a moment to dive into this class and work on my project.
I love puns, and for this class, I decided to research some Halloween-themed puns. 

I picked "You're Fang-tastic!" even though it was hard to choose. I will definitely have to make more, maybe a small series of three, as Claire suggested in the class.

Here are some early sketches: At first I wanted to focus only on the face of the vampire, but I then opted for the whole figure, which was cuter and funnier.



For the color palette, I knew I wanted something spooky and "on brand" with Halloween, so I started with purple and a red and looked for other colors that could complement the palette.

Lastly, I colored, added some details and a little bit of textures

I will sleep on it, and see if I am definitely glad with the palette.
After that, I will have to finish my series!! (I have 2 other puns that NEED to be illustrated) :D
