She haistily closed the curtains as sun peaked over the horizon. She worriedly looked down at her hand and sighed in reliefe, feeling her fingertips slowly turn back from dust to flesh.

Ruben looked around the room in disgust. It looked like a pigsty, eversince Borous Evicted the third had gotten inside it had smelled like it too. He carefully made his way through the room. A pile of dirty laundry rustled, and he jumped back in suprise his left foot landing squishily in a revolting pile of pig poo. Bile rose in his throat. He couldn't imagine how his aunt could live with this in her house.

 

A large dog jumped up agains't the fence holding it back, barking its head off. Gary shied away from the fence, seeing the dog lock eyes with him. His thigh throbbed with fantom pain where a gruesome scar was hiden from veiw. The dog on the the other side of that heavy duty metal fence had almost killed him, and he could never look at a dog the same way again.

 

The wind gusting behind the sails died away, and the captain looked to the horizon where the sun had begun to set. The sun shown red and the captain's heart sank. They were two days from the nearest port, and he knew like the rest of the crew that they had no choice. While they could they would have to try to out run it, for he knew they would not make it in the feirce wind and tremendously tall waves that waited for them under those low hanging dark clouds.

 

The scent of freashly cooked candied nuts flew up her nose. Abigail salivated at the smell. And then a sound loud and musical crashed down the street. Looking around she saw people beginning to rush down the road yelling and laughing. She wondered what it could be, until she remembered seeing a sign for a musical. But it wasn't new, she suspected it was just the timing. Kids must have gotten out of school.
