Wildflower Basket + Updates

Project Update: September 17th, 2025

Hey Stamp-Friends,

As you already know, this week's prompt is "Time to Leaf." I found some great inspiration in our garden that I would love to share with you.

Within my collection is the leaf from our tulip tree, and I translated its shape into three different stamps: the outline, the fill, and the leaf veins.

Feel free to download the templates and use them as inspiration for your stamps. I can't wait to see what you've created! A picture of your work in progress is perfectly fine.

‼️ The deadline for this week’s leaf stamps is Tuesday, September 23. The next prompt will be released on Wednesday, September 24.

All right? Then I’ll leaf it to you. ;) I can’t wait to see your fabulous creations!

Sending you heaps of leafy joy,

Ulrike

Hey and Hello Stampy Creatives,

time for my weekly update throughout our PLANTY OF STAMPS Challenge.

🌼 This week’s prompt: Dots in Bloom

Our goal is to fill our stamp set with shapes that can be used as the center of a flower. The flower stamp-stamp. Or if you are in love with flowers as I am, we are looking for shapes to stamp the flower heart. 😉

MY THIS WEEK’S FAVORITE BRUSH: oh, yes…. I am in love with the Tarraleah brush from the Artistic Set of Procreate's built-in brushes.

Next prompt drops on Wednesday, September 17th.

Let’s keep the planty magic blooming!

Sending you all dotted joy, Ulrike

Project Update: September 7th, 2025

Hey, lovely creatives,

🥳 Yes, we officially kicked off our 🌿 Planty of Stamps Challenge 🌿! Each week, I will introduce a new prompt to help you build your stamp collection, and you also have the chance to win a one-year Skillshare Membership. If you missed the announcement, you can read it here.

This is the stamp I created for this week's prompt: Everything round. Inspired by the beautiful yellow flower friend in our garden.

To create this smudgy, mushy flower head, I used the Leatherwood brush from the Artistic Set of Procreate's built-in brushes.

I highly encourage you to experiment with unusual brushes, as this is a significant next step after working with super clean shapes in class.

Have fun creating your round project for this week! Please post it here as a new project or update your existing one by Tuesday, September 9th.

The following prompt will be shared on Wednesday, September 10th.

I can’t wait to see your planty creations!

Dear students,

Thank you so much for taking the class and for all the great projects that keep rolling in.

This is my workflow, which I'll be happy to share with you:

Once your combination sheet is ready …

… you can decide on one to three hero shapes to create any design. Let me show an example:

I use my assets a lot for surface and pattern design. And it was so much fun to create colourful Easter eggs this way. Have a look at the resources if you want to try it out too.

Can’t wait to see your fabulous designs. Feel free to share them on Instagram too. Use @textandtulip so I won’t miss any of them.

Happy creation!
