The Plant I Almost Gave Up On

A short, faceless video told through close-up shots and voiceover.

[Visual: A hand lifts a pot of dry, drooping leaves from a desk.]

I was about to throw this plant away.

I bought it because I wanted something alive beside me while I worked. At first, I checked it every morning. Then I got busy. I kept thinking I’d water it tomorrow.

By the time I noticed how bad it looked, I tried everything at once. Water. Sunlight. A new spot by the window. More leaves fell anyway.

[Visual: The pot pauses above the bin. A tiny green shoot is visible near the soil.]

Then I saw this.

It didn’t mean the plant was saved. I put it back by the window, and the next morning I checked the soil before I opened my laptop.

[Final shot: The small shoot in morning light.]
