Nicely done, Jamie, love the look of your stars! Are you using regular cellulose-based paper? I never had any issues with this kind of paper cracking (the metallic and plastic coated ones are a different matter, though), but it can be due to the paper weight and how much you work it folding and creasing it. Do you use an owl or something else to create crease lines before folding or a bone folder to fold the paper? Are you going to use these ornaments to decorate for the festive season this year? I guess it's due to the paper weight because I couldn't fold it completely just by hand. But next time I will use an awl to create lines first and see if there's any difference. Thank you for your suggestion. I will definitely make some more for my tree and room decorations.

I used paper sizes of around 11 cm. The white star was made from pretty thick scrap paper. My experience with it is that the creases will crack after folding, and if the paper is colored, it's very noticeable. Luckily, the one I had was white on one side, so it wasn't a big deal :D
