Loose Watercolor Birds: Paint a Wren with Wet-Into-Wet Techniques

Just beautiful! I always love seeing you use your earth paints! Wonderful texture on the bird, always a treat to see your art!

Thank you so much, Teresa! Your kind words always warm my heart. Working with earth pigments is my absolute passion, so I'm thrilled you enjoyed the texture! 😊

I love this approach Eva, the blooms on the background really make the bird pop, I love seeing how each person's style develops, well done!  The scapel really worked well

Thank you so much, Paul! Your feedback means a lot to me. I really enjoyed letting the water and pigments flow freely in the background to create these textures.

So fierce haha I love the reserved white lines💕

Děkuji, Hafizo! Jsem ráda, že se ti ta divokost líbí. Ty bílé linky jsem vyškrábala skalpelem, byla to skvělá zábava.

This is so amazing Eva. I really like the textures and effects and the impression of fur details - very loose yet capturing a lot of details. Even the background looks amazing.

Děkuji, Bharti! Měla jsem velkou radost z experimentování se suchým štětcem a skalpelem. Těší mě, že se ti textury líbí.

thats interesting and new to me.. so you did that while the colours were wet or did that later post drying?

I did it later, post drying. The layers dry very fast in this hot summer weather, so the paper was perfectly dry and ready for the scalpel details. 😊

Děkuji, Christine! Bylo úžasné přidat mého střízlíka k ostatním.

Střízlík má tělo malované mými hliněnými pigmenty a na větvi Sodalis. Některá peříčka škrábaná skalpelem.
