This wren was a challenge for me in a good way.  It allowed me to figure out where my weaknesses are.  As you can tell on both painting the eyes and beck did not turn out so well.  The painting below this one was my first attemp.  I honestly think I just need to practicce painting the beck and eyes over and over again.  Then we move towards the center of the body.  The area towards the head needs to be lighter with darker values more towards the wings with a little flicker of the rigger brush to add texture.  The tail needs more values so it looks more dementional.  I'm not done painting this and when I fix these issues I'll post the finished painting:)  Fantastic tutorial Paul!  Thank you!
