Hi Nicoleta, thanks for showing me your project and for following my lesson. I love the result, and I appreciate this isn't an easy subject. But, sometimes it is good to stretch ourselves, without worrying so much about the result, but learn through the process. I think it is a success when we can say that a lesson taught us something new or different. I think I mentioned in the lesson (correct me if I remember wrong) that you can trace the subject using graphite copy paper. I find this a good starting point sometimes, although, by sketching freehand you observe and discover your subject much more efficiently. I hope you are pleased with your painting, because I think you did a very good job! Don't be afraid to add more dark strokes to 'up' the contrast in the water, and add more texture, but this is subjective of course and totally depends on your own taste and vision. I particularly love the reflections of the buildings in the water and the neat representation of the buildings' shapes. I think you already have a distinct style, which even some experienced artists don't achieve!

Nice project, but it was better if we had a sketch for beginning, because it was a tough one&nbsp;
