I like it. Looks almost like stained glass. Wonder how long watercolor pigment would last in sunlight as long as I stay away from fugitive color.

It does look a bit like stained glass! Watercolor lightfastness depends on the quality of the pigment in your watercolor paints. 
The pigments are rated for permanence in watercolors the same as they are in oils. The painting will fade with time if the paint has poor-quality pigments. So I'd say student-grade paints wouldn't hold up as well as artist-grade ones.
