This piece was a fun challenge for me since I usually struggle to incorporate animals into my art. I was inspired by the gardens at the Royal Alcazar in Seville, Spain. I initially planned to include the peacock and two typess of flowers, but the fountain in the background of the video ended up feeling like a stronger choice. The arch in the back was also inspired by the architecture. I love how it turned out. My art usually leans maximalist, so keeping the details small made this piece feel even more powerful. Thank you!
