My attempt to use photos from my yard as references fell flat so I borrowed inspiration for the three elements from online sources.  But it was still an adventure presenting the objects to fit my style.  I usually don't sketch beforehand and I think it would have helped me here, I got bogged down several times with what to do.  I love how the drawing guide symmetry takes me places I didn't know I could go.  I'm a fan of flat illustrations so kept a light touch on shadows and textures but did use a paper overlay to add depth. Thank you for your class, it had a fresh approach which I needed.
