I found this painting first on Indonesia Virtual Art Archive. This painting is exhibited at National Indonesia Gallery,Jakarta on May 12th 2019 . The exhibition title is "CONTRACTION: Post-traditionalism". The Exhibition is about modern and contemporary art which responding to the function of tradition as open and inclusive collectivism in a variety of ideas and perspectives across the ages.

The painting i choose to analyze is Mario Viani painting titled "Newbie". 

The composition in this painting which is dominant is the pattern, it create an object with triangle pattern 

The material is acrilyc on canvas, the technique is unique, if you zoom in he does not paint with brush only, but other equipment which create a pattern, and the acrylic is not opaque but some transparent.

The subject matter is abstract representional, which is a form of human combined with camera (although the form is abstract). And the camera which is smaller than him looks like instagram logo which is represented a camera, originally inspired  old, 1970s or 80s, Polaroid-type camera.

He stated that "This work is inspired by the activities of today's young people who like to take pictures. In contrast to the past, photos became pure sources of documentation, while in the present era, photos and publications in cyberspace became new cultures, and the most distinguishing from the era of the previous generation with the millennial era is the hobby or hobby that can impact financial achievement, start up , market place, selebgram (Instagram celebrities) or actresses and Youtube artists are one example of working in new ways and new professions in the era of technology and the internet."
