My project

Here's my portrait for the first week of the challenge. I used Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Red light, Ultramarine and Lamp Black. I often work with almost this same palette, but without the black. I changed the girl's face - I drew a side profile picture I found on Pinterest (I believe it's the actress from Money Heist), but then I followed Jane during the painting process.

Aaand here's the second week, it was so much fun! I added Magenta to the four colors I'd used for the first week's portrait. I love how rosy it is.

On week 3, I added Cobalt Turquoise to the previous 5 colors. Here's the result:

On week 4 I was painting away from home and I only had my small travel palette with me, so actually I stayed with the same 6 colors that I'd used the previous week, I didn't add a new blue. This way, it's interesting to see how completely different the two portraits are, even though the palette was exactly the same.

Aaaaand here's the 5th and last portrait! I added Cadmium Yellow to the previous 6 colors, so I ended up with 7 instead of Jane's 8. I was a bit afraid of painting a face in almost complete shade, but it ended up being lots of fun!

Thank you so much, Jane, it was an amazing challenge, just like the previous ones!
