Hi Betty,This is a really evocative piece. The colours melt into each other and the combination of grain and gradients reminds me of Monet's cathedral series!I like how you've used the diagonal to lead the eye back through the image, with the bridge fading into the sky as it falls off the page. Equally, having the moon in the top corner balances the composition.I wonder if you attempted simplifying the lower part of the bridge beam right in the middle of the image? The number and complexity of shapes there creates a focal point, which might have been your intention. I think the triangle formed by the cables and top part of the beam would stand out more strongly with slightly less going on below—it could be as simple as limiting yourself to three shades of blue/grey rather than the 4 you currently have.I've always been aesthetically drawn to bridges, particularly at sunrise/sunset. You've done a great job of capturing that exact feeling here.
