The theme was the main cathedral of my hometown, Douala Cameroon which is also a landmark of the city. I used a picture I took of the cathedral as reference. I wanted something that had a sort of "stately" or "heavenly mood" to it as it is a cathedral. The sun and its rays are a personal touch I decided to add to make it more interesting. I think the grain effect (borrowed from a fellow classmate of this class hehe) enhances the scenery.
