Fun! It's a cool brush stroke pattern. definitely, the inspirations that you see with your own eyes is much more efficient. It could be a pattern, something that will move you, maybe something different than Byzantine art. This system applies to all kinds of inspirations as well...otherwise, it is ok just to play with your paint for now :)

Pretty….Since you live in NY, have you visited the Met before?  My only trip to NY, I never got the opportunity to go, which has always been a regret.  I just bought an Etchr watercolor metallic gold paint set, and after doing samples of each color, I have no idea what I will use them for.  Maybe this class is a place to try them out.  You inspired me to work on some projects from Cornelia’s class.:):)

Thanks Diana Glad I inspire someone! I live in Queens but can take subway to Manhattan if I dare as crazy world. I have been to The Met a few times. May go again soon as my library has some Culture passes for free. 

I really have no idea what to paint but some mosaic marks. Forgot i had these paints so just wanted to make marks with cat tongue brush.
