This class really does what it says in the title, helps you "get loose" ! I enjoyed allowing myself to explore different mediums, I usually work with  watercolor but changing it up helped me step out of perfectionism and resulted in me having a great time while painting. 

Thank you Alanna for this class, I feel your relaxed approach to teaching helped me reset my mind and spark my creativity after a long artist block.

 

About the artwork: For the backwash I used acrylic ink and painted the bird with gouache, was ready to add color pencils but then after taking another look at the piece I didn't feel I needed to add more details. Made on Stillman&Burn sketchbook.
