I love the close-up photographs. It's so colorful and visually stunning. Also, the process shots are great. I always like seeing those. Great work! Your blog didn't want to load, so I didn't get to see that.

Man, I really like when you combine the digital and tangible stuff, ie frankenstein and the card. If I were to do anything differently, I'd be looking at incorporating more of that crossmedium feel into the site. While I can see where the others may have been coming from with the slider thing, I'll disagree a bit, especially since squarespace pages are responsive out of the box. The issue with a nonresponsive slider is that a.) it reads poorly at mobile screen sizes, and b.) pushes the real content below the fold. That theme tiles the work so nicely on smaller viewports and the slider really just takes real estate from your work at those sizes. Do you have analytics running on your site? I'd be curious to see what your visitor mix looks like to see if it's worth making a change to the slider. But great site, and really impressive work, enjoyed it. Also, I'm super jelly of your visit to house... so much amazing.

Thanks! I agree my work in general is a bit all over the place and I should curate my content more carefully to the type of work I want to attract. Getting a more crossmedium feel is definitely something worth pursuing, maybe it will translate better in my self promotional item. I'm going back and forth about the slider, and you bring up a good point about viewing it on mobile devices. Right now I don't get too many visitors using them to access my site, but hopefully that will change! I'm sure I'll find a way to use those illustrations for something else. Thanks again! Hopefully the house gallery will be around for a long time!

I'd have to agree with Daneisha: slide it up to the top if possible! Or (if possible) speed up the transition time. I'm not likely to spend too long at the bottom of a website, unless there's some very interesting footer information. I'd also love to see your face on the about! And the Frankenstein piece? Freaky and awesome.

I love the bottom slider!  Had you not mentioned it, I think I would have missed it or at least taken longer for me to notice it.  I don't know anything about SquareSpace, but would it  be possible to move the slider to the top?  The first thing I noticed was that empty space.  It has a lot of potential.   I feel like that slider gives me an idea of your personality so it should be more prominent.
