Nice work Ineke! Did you find it easier than the sunset class? There are a lot of the same skills. I like your seagull groupings and the colours in your foreground are great. A couple things to think about: try to make your land mass bottoms as straight as possible.(you can use masking tape if needed) when making mountains, ideally keep each layer lower than the one before. scrape just as the shine leaves and try to get a broader portion of your scraper onto the paper so you get more than just lines. A few colour changes in the middle land mass would be good, these can be added even now. Make your foreground trees much larger than the mid ground ones. Nice work on the scumbling of the ocean. Thank you very much for your feedback. I painted this one three times and I'm going to do it again . The straightness of the bottoms is one of my weaknesses. I'm going to work on it, usually forget about it. It was easier than the silver lines but still not happy with myself. Need a lot of practice still, but I'll get there one of these days.

you are welcome Ineke and you are doing well. Time on paper I always say is how we improve. Do try the masking tape below and then paint over it to get the straight horizon.

I am not happy with the layers of the hills. The third layer(front) doesn't show. Then my trees are the same height? the front ones need to be taller, don't they?
