I had so much fun learning about Roy Lictenstein's art work and all his different styles over his life. There were so many different ideas I want to try but these are the only ones I've finished so far.

  I experimented with cartoon characters and speech bubbles along with dot backgrounds in gouache.

I really liked his waterlilly work so I attempted to duplicate it with collage and ink.  This was much harder than I thought it would be.  I may try again in a different way now that I better understand the construction of this work. Gouache and dot pens.
