Thanks, Judy :) I'm less an "overachiever" and more a "ffs, I think I messed up ... again ... ugh ..." type of person. lol! Yikes!  I changed the title because that was totally not my intention. &lt;Gulp!&gt;

There are no rules to follow, Jen, just fun to be had. 😊 I love both of your Lichtenstein inspired artworks! Great play of the Benday dot texture, the use of flat colors, the funny comic comment is very Lichtenstein. And your fish are just wonderful! I love the humor I find in the dark background water and the work dark going around for your border. Thank you so much for sharing your artworks!

Both were fun, that's for sure -- I'm so glad to see a class featuring him. :)  The ballroom piece sort of *clicked*, instantly ... the fish took more work because I'm not used to thinking about his abstract artwork.  I love dark chocolate and have been saving those "dark" labels from Hershey's kisses for a while.   Glad to finally justify the hoarding, lol! Thanks Elisabeth. :)

It's all super useful. Can't wait to incorporate al those great collage shapes and papers into summer camp art projects. And use the drawing materials for mixed media fun with my campers. :) 

My first attempt didn't follow the directions very well (!!!!) so here is my second attempt: fish.
